Warrior/rt d core farming solo
Morning all,
The title says alot
I've been trying to do this build to farm destroyer cores, the thing is that i always die. I only tried it for a few times so i still need to practice alot. I've bumped up on some information i think that says that the build doesn't exist any longer. Well it does excist but the problem is that it doesn't work anymore.. Because i can't remember the reason anymore.
Can you guys help me out? Can you still farm d cores solo with this build? Or is this an old build that went lost with the updates...

This build has been archived as of April 2 2008, for the following reason:
* Inner Fire fixed in March 31 game update.
I believe this says enough.... Because of Inner Fire Destroyers heal themselves and that's why you can't kill them. You dont deal enough damage.

It's still possible, however. Assasin can solo them without any support using shadow form and sliver armor, so what you need to do is adapt the build to your warrior.
Since warrior has a small energy pool, you'll need as much energy as you can get. Because you can't use sliver armor if you choose W/A for shadow form, you'll have to use Obsidian Flesh instead. Because you can't keep up Obsidian Flesh forever, you'll need something to speed up the recharge time + lengthen the enchantment. Because you can't do this all by yourself, you need a hero/friend.
load your warrior with the traditional glyph of swiftness + obsidian flesh combo, low energy cost armor buffs/damage absorption skills (stoneflesh aura, dolyak signet), sliver armor and damage increasing skills (ebon battle standard, "By Ural's Hammer!") to outdamage the Inner Fire healing. For extra safety put in health buffs (choices are Feel No Pain, Endure Pain, Signet of Stamina)
now grab a ranger hero or a friend with primary ranger, make sure he has 16 wilderness survival, then put on Serpent's Quickness + Quickening Zephyr (casting SQ and then QZ means you can keep the spirit up forever). Because you need all the energy you can get, let him bring Balthazar's spirit, and make him maintain it on you at all times (disable it on the hero skill bar and micro cast it yourself). Because your hero/friend will slowly run out of energy, bring Blessed Signet to regain enough energy before the next cast.
As for gear, I recommend Sentinel-modded armor, a shield with +10 vs piercing damage and +30hp/+45hp (while enchanted) and a caster-wep such as the totem axe.
As said before, your hero needs a superior wilderness survival headpiece to allow for unlimited QZ. If he gets energy troubles, give him a staff and/or radiant insignias.
Flag your hero near the baby dragon, and micro his SQ and QZ skills (ALWAYS in that order). If he grabs aggro, it's game over for you. Either he dies, or loses aggro and the baby dragon dies.
I guess that's all you need to know, Learning how to do it is up to you, I've teached myself too.

Can you do whole this quest (all the waves of it?) Or only the first one?

only the first wave, the second wave hits through your armor no matter how big you are buffed.
